On line registration and abstract submission are now OPEN

Take advantage of the reduced early bird conference registration rates by registering before or on April 13th, 2016. Late registration fees apply after April 13th, 2016.

Welcome and on-site registration of the participants will take place on Monday June 13th afternoon. Afterwards, opening session of SPEA 9 will consist of two plenary lectures followed by a convivial welcome reception. The SPEA 9 meeting will take place till June 17th (noon).

Before the abstract submission, you should first proceed with the Online Registration to SPEA 9. No abstracts will be accepted that include presenting authors who do not register to attend the SPEA9 Meeting. Please be aware that registered authors can submit up to TWO abstracts as presenting author. Additional abstracts submitted by the same presenting author will be charged with an additional fee of 40 EUR per supplementary abstract.

Steps to register and participate to SPEA 9

Please be aware of the steps to undertake to register and participate at SPEA9. The guidelines will improve the efficiency on all organization levels. Thank you for your collaboration!

  • The SPEA9 management platform is prepared for online invoice emission. The correct accounting data should be fulfilled in the SPEA9 registration platform (especially the name of the legal organization receiving the invoice) in order to avoid possible errors during the invoice emission process.

  • Abstract submission is only possible after your online registration to SPEA9.

  • After registering, you will receive an e-mail from SPEA 9 confirming your registration. Afterwards, go to the abstract submission page.

  • If you choose a payment by credit card, you will receive an e-mail from SPEA 9 confirming your payment. If you do not receive any payment confirmation within two days, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

  • Whatever the payment mode, SPEA 9 will send you the corresponding invoice by regular mail. If you do not receive any invoice within three weeks at the latest, please This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

  • Please comply with the payment deadline and avoid payments on site at the conference desk. Payment is mandatory before the opening of the meeting. Payment

All fees for the registration to SPEA 9 should be paid in EUR (€). VAT is included in all fees. In case payment is made via bank transfer, please note that we must receive the full amount clear of all bank charges.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Any cancellation or modification must be notified to the organizing committee in writing (by regular mail or e-mail) to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Only cancellations or modifications received untill March 16th 2016 (included) will be taken into account as a basis for reimbursement. Cancellations received after March 16th 2016, or absence from the SPEA 9 meeting will not make one eligible for any reimbursement.
